A previously unreleased project from Simon Morris with Stormy Leathers. As I'm sure you are aware, the world lost Simon Morris (chief throatmeister of Ceramic Hobs and sometime member of Smell & Quim) in December 2019 and music had lost one of it's true mavericks. It is a great pleasure to be able to release this....special thanks go to Phil Smith for arranging this.

"Recorded one sunny Wednesday morning in a spare room studio in the summer of 2015, it was my first collaboration with Simon since our band folded in 2006. Simon had his lyrics on a minuscule piece of paper written in the smallest font I've ever seen. All 7 songs on this little piece of paper that he somehow managed to read, much anxiety ensued when he started the yelling at the top of his lungs and frightening the neighbours and neighbourhood cats. Only stopping periodically for brews and bacon butties. I think there is a lot of humour and depth to these songs and they make smile when I hear them now and remember my friend and his sometime cheerful insanity and his always sharp wit.
