SALTINGS have produced some of the very best sounds in recent years....tapes via East Wall, Rusted Tones and Liquid Library, as well as a lush lathe cut 7", have proved that Andrew Cooke (for it is he) is a master of soundscapes. His new tape, "Earth Fosters What Heaven Lets Fall" takes its title from a Sufi poem and is a masterful display of chiaroscuro - the sides mirroring each other in an interplay of light and dark.
