Bass. Space. Tone. Drone. These are the primary missions of EL HOMBRE AL AGUA, aka the solo project of Moths & Locusts’ bass/synth man Dave Read. ‘Yosemite And The Range Of Light’, the brand new release combines 2 side long movements by EHAA. Side A includes Mirage Horizon from earlier this year, recorded live during an opening set for Oren Ambarchi & Crys Cole at Nanaimo’s legendary, now closed venue the White Room, the initial CD-R release of which was halted by COVID-19 and only minimal copies were distributed locally; while Side B features last year’s all-bass meditation Floating/Drowning EP, which goes from ambient loops to apocalypse fuzz all recorded live through the monster M&L/Anunnaki bass rig.
